Caring for business by investing attention into company bathrooms

The bathroom is maybe one of the most overlooked rooms in any building due to the fact that people consider that we don’t spend enough time there for it to actually count as a real room.

The truth, however, is that we spend quite a lot of time in there, although many might not realise that because it always seems like a thing done “in passing”. Either way, the fact that the bathroom is often times overlooked can also lead to that specific room lacking a proper interior design plan.

While this is important in general, it can be very important in a business environment as it is not only an accommodation for employees but also for building guests, distinct business associates or even foreign representatives.

The size and importance of the business will dictate the kind of people will be using its bathrooms while visiting.  It can also dictate in how much need the company might be of a trip to Bella Bathrooms for supplies and required elements for a revamp. Let’s take a look at what you should focus on while designing or redesigning the company bathrooms.

Let’s take a look at what you should focus on while designing or redesigning the company bathrooms.

  • Look to have matching elements. This is a feature that is important in any environment but a business one nonetheless requires the utmost attention to details as it will reflect on the company’s principles and ideology. Furthermore, having a “random” bathroom arrangement will deter potential business partners from trusting that you know what you are doing. By matching elements, we mean that you must try and have the nuance of the tiles match that of the appliances installed in the bathroom and that the mini rugs should be in tone with the towels.
  • Don’t be afraid to stock up on supplies. While there should be a cleaning service commissioned so that dirty towels are washed and restocked, you should show generosity in a number of towels made available at any given time. Additionally, guests will feel appreciative if you add more than once choice of soap. Some people like traditional soap, while others like a certain fruitiness to it.
  • Others can’t go without liquid soap. By restricting your guests to just one option, you are putting yourself in a position where it might not be the one they like. While that doesn’t sound like a big deal, it’s little things like that which begin to build doubt within people contemplating doing business with your company. Doubt regarding the fact that the two involved parties might not be compatible.
  • Making sure that the bathroom and stall doors come with interior locks will provide a much-needed level of safety and reassurance to guests. In this day and age, especially in the building of a respectable business, it’s quite unlikely that someone would barge in an occupied stall. However, it’s not about probabilities but the psychological effect this has. It shows that your company can offer them reassurance and inspires trust and safety.
