British Small Business Awards 2018: Final shortlist released!

The British Small Business Awards will once more celebrate the leading companies and individuals across the SME ecosystem. Here is the complete shortlist for every category that will be celebrated on the night.

The British Small Business Awards is the leading celebration of the UK’s small business sector, recognising the nation’s best sole traders, micro businesses and small companies – as well as the services providers and advisers that support them.

At the start of 2017, there were an estimated 5.7 million small businesses (defined as those with 0-49 employees) in the UK, accounting for 99.3 per cent of all private sector businesses. The combined annual turnover of small businesses was £1.9 trillion, 33 per cent of all private sector revenue in the UK.

Despite the vast proportion of small businesses among private companies, this vital sector does not get the recognition it deserves. Often described as the ‘engine room of the economy’, it is high time the small business community is commended for its efforts in providing quality products and services to customers and its significant contributions to Britain’s success.

We are delighted to announce the final shortlist for the British Small Business Awards, held on October 31st at London’s Royal Lancaster Hotel.

If you haven’t yet booked your ticket, you can find out more information on how to do so by visiting our contact page here.
