British Small Business Awards 2017: Accountancy Software Provider

Our Accountancy Software Provider of the Year category has been announced, rewarding the software provider that is most in tune with the needs of small companies.

The British Small Business Awards 2017, organised by SmallBusiness.co.uk and GrowthBusiness.co.uk, sponsored by Travelers, Salesforce and Dun & Bradstreet and held on November 1 at the Grand Connaught Rooms, London, is the leading awards ceremony in the SME space, rewarding the brightest stars of the UK small business scene, together with the vendors and advisers that help them start, run, grow and succeed.

Our latest shortlist announcement is the Accountancy Software Provider of the Year category.

This category will recognise the accountancy software provider that best suits the needs of SMEs, with the judges considering level of innovation, impressive customer care, value for money, and a product that best assists small companies with managing their finances.

After careful consideration and a close scrutiny of how each candidate matched up to the criteria, the Accountancy Software Provider of the Year finalists are revealed as:

Crunch
Clear Books
Compleat Software
FreeAgent
Kashflow
Pandle
Sage
Tally Accounts
Wave
Xero

In the early stages, small business owners are often in the position of having to manage their accounts themselves as well as grow their core offering.

However, once revenues increase and a business takes off, many have the resource to take on help. There are a multitude of excellent products on the market that simplify the process of managing your accounts and help you focus your energy on what you do best: running your business. For 2017, we wanted to introduce this category to recognise the essential contribution such providers make to the small business ecosystem.
