The Women in Business event will be held at the Cedar Court Hotel, Bradford on Thursday 29 September 2005 from 10:30am until 3:30pm and includes seminars and presentations by renowned businesswomen, including Nighat Awan OBE, managing director of the Shere Khan group of restaurants.
The event focuses on women who want to improve their business knowledge and access valuable information. There will also be the opportunity for women to listen to good practice and share and exchange ideas.
Sharon Jandu from Women in Business, said, ‘Increasingly, there is a hunger among women, from many different backgrounds, to be involved in business and, indeed, to set up their own enterprises.”
To complement the Women in Business event an exhibition will be running alongside the workshop. Organisations and companies offering a range of help and advice on business-related issues ranging from banking and tax to service solutions and legal issues will be represented.
