How and where can I get information on government grants?

For starters, we would encourage you to check out our channel on government grants for business. We cover all the different forms of grants – from green technology subsidies to regionally focused grants for start-ups, and there is also a Questions and Answers section for even more specific options. The UK government’s own .gov.uk service has a section called: Finance and support for your business, with information provided by the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy.

For research specific funding, there is the UKRI which acts as a central repository for a number of government organisations (including Innovate UK) focused on R&D funding for institutions, businesses and wider society, in the UK and around the world.
