Queen’s Award for Moneypenny

A company that answers over five million calls per year for British businesses has won a Queen's Award for Enterprise in the Innovation category.

Founded by brother and sister team Ed Reeves and Rachel Clacher, Moneypenny received the award in recognition of its innovative approach to customer service and development of technology.

Commenting on the win, Rachel Clacher said: ‘Ultimately this award is recognition of what can be achieved with a great team. Our people, combined with investment in cutting edge technology, gave us the confidence to know we could create a new product in a new market and ensure its success.’

Moneypenny has independently grown the telephone answering services market and developed the systems to enable larger organisations to outsource all or part of their reception function. It now has a turnover of £4 million and employes 125 staff.
