Ryan Panchoo

Owner of Borough 22

Biography

Ryan Panchoo is the founder and CEO of Borough 22, the UKs first dedicated doughnut bakery based in London’s 22nd Borough of Royal Greenwich. He has developed his multi-award-winning doughnuts over the last 8 years and has been a stockist in Selfridges Food Hall for 7 of those. In 2022 he developed a completely gluten-free, vegan, yeast-raised fried doughnut that has taken the free-from community by storm receiving praise and rave reviews from everyone that’s been fortunate enough to try them, hailing them as the unicorn of the free-from world and the best gluten-free product they’ve ever tasted.

Biography

Liz was appointed the role of Small Business Commissioner in July 2021 to spearhead the national effort to crackdown on poor payment practices which cause thousands of small businesses to close every year. Aside from her role as Commissioner, Liz Barclay is a small business and consumer affairs broadcaster, producer and writer. She started her career as an adviser and then CEO with Citizens Advice before moving into radio and TV production and presentation specialising in business and consumer affairs.

The winning businesses will take over the space from Tuesday 13^th June – Saturday 17^th June (with the shop open for trading Wednesday-Saturday). The competition is open to all UK businesses who have been trading for less than five years (up to and including 21st May 2023) and is completely free to enter.
