Of that number, 29 per cent are extremely positive indeed, saying that it was the best move you’d ever made and, despite your various ups and downs, a quarter of you feel that it was worth the struggle.
Starting a business is often as much about making mistakes and learning from them as it is about the successes, and a number of you feel that there are things that you’d do differently if you were to do it all again. Sometimes you just have to draw a line under bad times and put it down to experience as you come out the other side.
Yet, the fact that so many see starting a small business as a positive step should come as welcome news for readers who haven’t quite got there yet. In fact, only 15 per cent of you say that you wouldn’t start up again.
