Digital nomads seeking out visas in Africa can find a more relaxed pace of life and warmer weather.

Of course, one of the big draws is the wildlife, including the ‘Big 5’ – African buffalo, African elephants, black rhinoceros, leopards and lions – which can be seen on safari and in various parts of the continent. You could even take a water-based safari down a river on a speedboat, canoe, kayak or motorised pontoon to see the aquatic life. Think turtles, sharks and hippos. It’s not just water animals either, you can spot elephants and eagles on your travels.

There are loads of stunning tropical beaches as well as some of the highest sand dunes on the globe. You may have heard of beaches such as the Anse Soleil, Belle Mare and the Skeleton Coast, but don’t miss out on the orange Sossusvlei Sand Dunes in Namib Naukluft Park, Namibia. It’s a beautiful spot to see the sunset.

Co-working spaces in larger cities makes it easier to meet other digital nomads and give you a break from your four walls at home. Look out for Cowork da Praia, Coworking Port-Louis and Go Work, among others.
