Avila.Diana – fun, simple and loveable

Entrepreneur Avila Diana Chidume launched Avila.Diana, the world’s first online marketplace selling greeting cards for underrepresented groups such as the BAME, LGBTQ+ and disabled communities, in 2020.

This Minnie Mouse-style Avila.Diana logo featuring a black woman wearing trendy horn-rimmed glasses is fun, simple and eye catching.

India-based designer ms.logolady says: “A good logo should be different, simple and loveable, and I approached the brand refresh with this in mind. I have always been a fan of minimalism, and the hand-drawn icon and handwritten font style suits this concept. Working with a woman entrepreneur and supporting a black-owned business was inspiring, and I loved the expression in the brief that captures the essence of the brand: ‘Beauty outside of the box and a mascot for diversity’.”
