The British Small Business Awards 2017, organised by SmallBusiness.co.uk and GrowthBusiness.co.uk, sponsored by Travelers, SalesforceDun & Bradstreet, Storey, and Alma PR and held on November 1 at the Grand Connaught Rooms, London, is the leading awards ceremony in the SME space, rewarding the brightest stars of the UK small business scene, together with the vendors and advisers that help them start, run, grow and succeed.

On November 1, we will open with a champagne drinks reception, following by a sumptuous three-course meal with coffee and wine, before the winners are announced. We are pleased to announce that the evening also includes a Keynote address from Sir Rod Aldridge, founder of Capita and the Aldridge Foundation and a leading figure in inspiring entrepreneurship in local communities. It is sure to be a memorable occasion for the SME sector.

The 2016 Awards

The first Awards event, hosted by Kate Thornton at the magnificent Grand Connaught Rooms in London, was attended by 400 of some of the highest-achieving small businesses in the country, together with the influential advisers and partners that contributed to their success.

Graphic designer Gemma Lawton-Bryant impressed the judges in the Sole Trader of the Year category with strong turnover growth and an impressive customer base acquisition.

Our Innovation of the Year award went to Azoomee, a product made to inspire and empower kids through hundreds of tutorials, shows, and games, all in one secure app.
