Louis Saha – striker to social media tycoon

Another ex-Manchester United star who has made the transition from footballer to entrepreneur, France international striker Louis Saha has founded Axis Stars, a social media platform which aims to provide financial advice to sports and showbiz stars.

Several top sportspeople have gone bankrupt and this network gives them a place to chat about lifestyle, physios, sponsorship or anything else on their minds. Several top sportsmen including Didier Drogba, Phil Neville and Andy Murray have signed up.

Louis Saha, 43, launched the company in 2013, the same year he retired after 23 years in the game.

Speaking when it launched, Saha said: “Now I’ve retired, I still have a huge role to play sharing my experience with young players.

“I wish I had a platform like this as a player – it would have helped me manage my career plan and plan for the future a lot better.”
