Malta, and its surrounding islands, lend themselves well to a short stay. Get to know Malta and its historical sites and ruins (try Mdina and Barrakka Gardens) then soak up the nightlife. The café culture and scenery mean that you can venture out of your accommodation and work from a coffee shop. Malta is a small island so the bus service will get you around and about fairly easily, reducing the need for a car.

• Proof of sufficient financial means. (bank statement from the last six months)
