Pre Love Island, Molly-May Hague was a social media influencer from Hertfordshire. She is one of the quintessential examples of how to play the Love Island game right.
She was a late arrival into the villa back in 2019 (series five), partnering with boxer, Tommy Fury. The couple finished in second place and are arguably one of the most popular pairings in the programme’s short history.
Hague became a millionaire only months after leaving the villa, with Instagram posts fetching a hefty £65,000 apiece. She’s reportedly the first influencer ever to pair up with Starbucks. Her most notable collaboration was with Pretty Little Thing, designing a clothing collection for them. She went on to become the brand’s creative director but left earlier this year to focus on full-time motherhood.
Her Instagram posts have landed the star in hot water, with the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) banning three of her posts for not making it clear to her 7.5m followers that they’re adverts.
These days, Hague is still the sole Director of MMH Group Holding Ltd, which has Filter, MMH International and FM Cosmetics under its umbrella. She hasn’t cut ties with Pretty Little Thing altogether, maintaining a role as brand ambassador.
Molly-Mae and Tommy are returning to TV screens later in 2023 with their Netflix reality show, At Home with the Furys.
